very big rant....

but it's personal.... I'm just incredibly peeved, and hurt, and upset, and god knows what else.

So, I'm just gonna think about my dears, Kyo and Shinya, and try to be happy...

*update* I'm nixing this idea. I don't want to feel rushed, so....

I'm considering submitting my story for a Valentine's 2008 antho, but only if I have it all done, and in shape to send, two weeks, and no less, before the submit by date.... The requirements fit my story quite well, I think.

so, we'll see.

Not too many days ago I entered a contest run by an author, in which I had to write a 250 word scene about best friends. And guess what??

I won!! :D

So, that gives me hope that I can actually make something of my writing.

story update

I have taken out the majority of the dialogue, and have started a more descriptive version of the first scene I wrote. I must say it's coming along very nicely. :)

news!!

early this morning, about 5 am, I was suddenly inspired to write a scene, for a m/m book.
I did amazingly well, I think, esp. considering how early it was.
I typed it up, and sent it to a couple groups, to get people's opinions, and constructive criticism.

It went over quite well. I was told there are some typos, but they're fixable. I sent the scene to the person who alerted me to them, and she's going to put the corrections, in an email, to help me out.

I appreciate all the replies.

the actions are almost clinical or technical. Maybe go

On Sunday I think we were gonna see a movie.... but either way... Sam got a call from this guy named Ed, I still don't know for sure who he is. but he had a flat, and needed Sam to come help... so off we went.... we had to drive up a hill, with only enough room for 2 cars, just barely..... and once we ended up a little too close to the edge... It wasn't bad, really, though.... except when it was bumpy.....
it was a dirt road..... wasn't bumpy too often though. so I ended up actually meeting 3 new people..... Ed, someone who I assume is Sam's uncle, as he called him Uncle something(I can't remember his name). and that person's son I believe..... he looked to be maybe 16. but I'm not always a good judge.

and the second experience.... I was able to shoot Sam's gun, a couple times. But I'm quite certain I didn't hit the tree.... :(

now, I am not necessarily condoning gun use.... but if you know what you're doing, and have a license to carry.... etc., and aren't out to shoot people.

only reason he has one, in addition to other rifles, is because he's a hunter......

ok, I remembered. Yesterday me and Sam had an appt to go to the clinic to get tested. He had told me prior to that, that he doesn't like needles, and I got to see firsthand. It was quite funny. he had to put his hand under his leg, to make sure he wouldn't have a reflex action, when the needle was stuck in his arm.

I just couldn't help but laugh....

Today was a good day, even with not getting to sleep til after 2 am, and waking up at about 7.

today I had fun with a little of wrestling... I was trying to put on my boots, and the guy I am living with was not being helpful, kept unzipping them.... and also tickling me, though that was mostly before the wrestling....

today had appt to get tested. will get results by next Thurs.
